No line? No problem!

How would your business run on a day to day basis without IT equipment or an internet connection? One of our customers was put in this very unfortunate position when BT failed to correctly book a new line install for an office move. Having no internet connection may affect your business more than you think! No email, no ability to look for contact numbers and no access to the websites they frequently use for ordering stock. All of this disruption to business is very costly and BT’s response is to book the “earliest” appointment of mid April! As their IT Support company, we could not stand for this.

After taking on the role of getting the line install rolling, we needed a solution that would allow basic  browsing of the internet, and fast access to email. Our solution was a 4G dongle. Thinking about the fastest and most cost-effective temporary solution for this company, we decided that a dongle would be the best way of ticking all the boxes, which ultimately would result in our customer being able to earn money again.

Within 24 hours, our customer now has a functional network and couldn’t be more pleased. An onsite visit within Hampshire meant that our customer could sit back while we did the work and be assured the job would be done properly. While we were onsite, we ensured all requirements were met and access was reliable to reduce disruptions and support requirements over the next month.

If you are stuck between a rock and a hard place when it comes to your IT equipment or suppliers, give us a call and we can look at possible alternatives to get you up and running to full capacity again.
